My passion for art work started when I was a tot. I started oil painting when I was 12 years old. I had a one man show at IRS when I was only 14 years old. I always wanted to be a commercial artist like my uncle Joel, he told me that if I wanted to cut out the middleman and be able to have a better income, is to take graphic communications. So in high school I received a scholarship in printing. Not knowing that I could use the scholarship in commercial arts, I ended up taking printing at the Utah Technical College. After college I got a job at Spectrum Press, printing newspaper ads, I am now currently employed with Vertis Inc. as a press operator. I have now been in the printing field for 35 years now. On January 15th Vertis was bought out, so now I work for Quad Graphics.
I have been married to my high school sweetheart Debra for 32 years and counting. I have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. I only paint as a hobby so therefore do not get a lot of time to paint as much as I would like.
